College Applications
I have helped many of my students through the college application process. I aim to make the process understandable, accommodate the needs and goals of my students and their parents, and alleviate some of the stress of this opaque and stressful ordeal.
I help my students decide where to apply, developing a list of schools with a range of selectivity, from "reach" schools to "safety" schools. I also emphasize selecting schools that fit the student's personality. I then work with my students to formulate, organize, and fine-tune college essays that present them in the best light.
For those who want a lot of help, I can provide complete guidance through the process. For those who want to work a bit more independently, I can help polish specific components of the application. I believe my service is a great value compared to the many overpriced and underwhelming "college counselors." My goal is to help my students navigate this process so they end up at a school where they will be happy and successful.
