Tutoring Services

I help students prepare for standardized tests such as the PSAT, ACT, SAT, and certain SAT subject tests, as well as standardized tests and placement tests for elementary, middle and high school including the SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT. I will guide my students through practice exams, teach them test-taking tips and strategies, and prepare them to succeed on test day. 

 

My goal when preparing students for these exams is not only to help them to achieve their best score, but also to use these tests as a means to improve valuable skills. In our sessions, we will learn how to "beat the test," but I also strive to improve their critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing abilities, and math skills.
